Official opening of the module in Ovruch

We sincerely congratulate everyone on the official opening of the first Mobile Rehabilitation Module in Ovruch, Zhytomyr region!

Now people can receive free services that they used to have to travel to big cities to get, including:

  • psychological support
  • physical rehabilitation
  • speech therapy consultations;
  • career guidance and employment;
  • legal aid;
  • social services.

To implement the project, the Mindy Foundation, the Coordination Center for Mental Health of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the NGO Bezbariernist, the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration and the Ovruch City Council, as well as Visa and Oschadbank, members of the Business Without Barriers community, joined their efforts. The project was implemented as part of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program “How Are You?”, which was initiated by the First Lady Olena Zelenska.

In addition to the module and equipment, a multidisciplinary team is already in place to help veterans, their families, and those affected by the war.

The Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration and local authorities are actively involved in the implementation of the social franchise, so that the module and its team receive support from the state and work for the benefit of the community.

Directly at the opening event, everyone involved in the launch of this project shared their thoughts and suggestions, because it is important not only to get this valuable result, but also to scale it across small cities in Ukraine.

Therefore, the social franchise and the Mindy Charitable Foundation invite to cooperation all those interested in building a network of real help where it is most needed.
