The social franchise appeared as a logical continuation of the activities of the charitable foundation MINDY since 2022. At that time, the foundation was already providing assistance in the areas of psychosocial and physical rehabilitation to veterans, their families, and internally displaced persons – over 3000 sessions of assistance by the end of 2023.
About us
From a certain point on, there was a need for help in the regions: at the level of district centres and ATCs. As a rule, such services are not available there.
The MINDY team, experts and specialists involved, developed the concept of a mobile rehabilitation module. This module takes everything into account in terms of the type of services and equipment needed – everything is standardised, evidence-based and includes rehabilitation equipment.
To ensure successful scaling, MINDY engaged franchise experts to help develop all the elements of a social franchise: the concept, financial model, franchisee manual, marketing materials, etc.
After the opening of the first mobile rehabilitation module in Ovruch (Zhytomyr region) in 2023, our team plans to scale the franchise to smaller communities where veterans need help, not just in big cities.
There is a lot of work ahead, but together with our partners we will find opportunities to help people.
